Duties

Help

As an ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (OA), GS-0303-6, you will:

  • Conduct research on a wide variety of complex administrative problems involving various activities and functional areas. Provides technical and specialized data, background material, and references as required.
  • Maintain personal contacts with functional managers to discuss administrative practices and services, provide technical advice and guidance, and recommend methods and procedures where necessary.
  • Maintains all correspondence and reports files for the respective divisions.
  • Manage the personnel program for respective divisions to include security clearances, personnel data control, force management, officer performance reports and training requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

General Experience:
Administrative or clerical experience, education, or training which demonstrates the candidate's ability to perform the duties of the position. Experience using computer and automation systems.

Specialized Experience:
Must have 9 months experience performing administrative work, gathering information, compiling data and preparing reports. Experience in the interpretation and application of regulations, procedures or law. Experience using oral and written communication.
