Duties

Help

Serves as a program analyst at the IMCOM Headquarters level performing a variety of analytical duties for the World Class Athlete Program. This position works with NAF accounting and budget processes as well as personnel systems. Incumbent will be required to obtain information, define problems, identify relationships, evaluate quality, assess impacts, and make conclusions/recommendations. Will be required to write reports, information papers, memorandums, letters, briefing materials and manuals.

Determines data required for analysis and devises appropriate methods for securing required information from sources such as reports, surveys, on-site investigations, discussions with officials, statutes, policies, plans, schedules, etc.

Analyzes issues, selects and applies accepted analytical techniques. Develops initial conclusions and recommendations for problems analyzed for submission to senior analyst or supervisor. May oversee operating procedures for a variety of administrative and/or program support functions

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position.

Professional and practical knowledge of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) programs with an emphasis on Army level Sports.
Professional experience organizing and providing administrative support to a well-rounded sports program.
Possess knowledge of budget execution phases (e.g., obligations, commitments, disbursements, unobligated balances, personnel systems).

Knowledge of the Nonappropriated fund (NAF) accounting system.
Demonstrated knowledge of the World Class Athlete Program.
Knowledge and experience working various personnel systems and processing administrative actions.
