This position is open only to current and former DoD NAF Employees and current, eligible DoD Appropriated Fund Employees. Other candidates will not receive consideration.
Serves as the Project Analyst for Morale, Welfare and Recreation and Lodging. Major and minor construction and capital improvement projects. Manages and coordinates the execution of the plans, scope, design, construction, budgeting and direction of these projects. Implements command decisions, guidance, laws, regulations and policy in the development of project plans. Serves as project manager for major NAF construction, renovation projects and multiple minor constructions where no DA or DPW project management support is provided. Integrates all project functions such as design, cost and construction. Assigns responsibilities and sets schedules and milestones. POC for all MWR and Lodging construction projects. Reviews project progress, measures performance and effects necessary corrective action to maintain schedules and costs. Assures early identification of customer problems or issues and facilitates the resolution of identified problems.
Develops and maintains a current inventory of all installation MWR and lodging facilities. Maintains installation population and other support requirements data that are used as the basis for project justifications.
Prepares staff papers, briefings and recommendations to address/resolve problem areas. Visits installations to evaluate and/or validate facility requirements. Maintains liaison with CFSC, COE and program proponent directors at all levels with respect to project programming, construction progress, master planning, facility requirements and utilization and status of projects.
QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position.
1. Knowledge of IMCOM organization, mission, policies, governing project development, design and execution.
2. Work experience managing construction projects.
3. Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple projects effectively.
4. knowledge of set schedules and milestones.
Highly qualified candidates will posses at least five (5) years of experience managing government construction, preferably NAF projects.
Education is not required for this position and will not be utilized in determining minimum qualifications or as a substitution for experience unless indicated in the vacancy.
