Duties

Help
  • The position requires a broad understanding of software development concepts and experience in current Microsoft applications to include but not limited to Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform (i.e. PowerApps).
  • Engage with customers to understand the current state solutions and limitations to ensure clear planning of future system designs and interfaces. Provide both broad and detailed technical guidance tailored to different stakeholders.
  • Serve as a technical manager for application development projects overseeing and leading application design, development, programming, testing, operation and maintenance, and end user support of critical program office systems.
  • Plan and prepare recommendations for modernization and improvements that focus on cloud solutions designed to be high-performing and high-quality systems.

Qualifications

Basic Requirement for the Information Technology Specialist, GS-2210 occupation: You must have Information Technology (IT) related experience demonstrating each of the following competencies:
1)Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail;
2)Customer Service - Works with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services;
3) Oral Communication - Expresses information to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information; makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately; and
4) Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations .Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.

For the GS 14: You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 level in the Federal Government (or private sector equivalent) performing all the following:

  1. Design, develop and maintain Power Apps (model-driven and canvas), Power Automate, and Dataverse to meet specific business requirements such as workflows, business process flows, entity forms, and views. And
  2. Conduct planning to ensure system enhancements support program initiatives and requirements as well as agency objectives. And
  3. Provide continuous communication to customer and leadership to ensure the customers service level agreements are being me.
**Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and application lifecycle management is strongly desired but not required**

Merit promotion applicants must meet the time-in-grade requirement as defined in 5 CFR 300, Subpart F. One year at the GS13 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS14 level.
