Duties

Help

Serves as a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act (PA) Specialist and is the primary point of contact for all nonappropriated fund (NAF) FOIA and PA requests for the Command. Receives, evaluates, and ensures that each request complies with established procedures and controls in accordance with applicable regulation or policy. Forwards requests to appropriate adjudicating official for necessary action. Ensures that all systems of records are properly maintained through periodic inspection and reports received. Provides narrative and statistical data through data mining of NAF Contracting automated systems, report development, and data collation. Plans and carries out various contracting support functions to include assisting with policy development.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position.


Progressively responsible work experience that includes a practical application of the above described or closely-related work experience.Must have a demonstrated knowledge of military administrative management policy and procedures.Must possess the ability demonstrated through experience to conduct research and present findings and/or recommendations.Must posess demonstrated communication and grammatical skills to meet the formal writing and presentation requirements of the position.

In addition to the above, highly-qualified candidates will also possess at least one of the following:FOIA/PA work experience at the field operating, regional, or major command level.Experience demonstrating a working knowledge of federal contracting processes and procedures.
