This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for STRL Mission Support Positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Duties

Help
  • Primarily responsible for coordination and delivery of critical AFC programs/activities to the Headquarters Department of Army staff, TRADOC, AMC, ASA(ALT), and internal subcommands.
  • Advises the CG and other AFC senior leaders and appropriate staff/command elements on resourcing and divesture of new and retiring requirements, and impacts to the soldier.
  • Synthesizes data from diverse sources, analyzes trends, and evaluates policies, plans, operations, legislation and other program directives to formulate AFC’s plan of action.
  • Represents the CG and AFC at conferences and meetings on matters pertaining to assigned mission and programs.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Coordinating a diverse team of SMEs to develop and analyze requirement documents; 2) Conducting studies to review and analyze requirements to invest or divest resources; 3) Using analysis to provide recommendations and inform requirements to Senior Leaders; AND 4) Brief analysis products across requirements enterprise.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DE-3/GS-13).
