Help

  • Project team member or project leader for projects of medium to large in scope and moderate to high complexity.
  • Assessing near-term needs utilizing a structured Systems process, to recommend business priorities and advise clients on options, risks.
  • Educating the client on the effects of technology used within OIT and the impact on the business.
  • Applies root cause analysis to determine the source of issues negatively impacting organizational operations and applies critical thinking to develop creative and effective recommendations that will significantly improve the effectiveness of policies and programs.
  • coordination of product sustainment efforts, comprehensive knowledge of the product suite and functionality, coordination of all entities involved in product sustainment, contract management for hardware, software, maintenance
  • Performs Risk Management for the assigned application(s) / product portfolio. Identify risks and execute mitigation strategies.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Qualifications

You must meet both the Basic Requirement and the Specialized Experience to qualify for this series as described below.

BASIC REQUIREMENT

Applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below at a proficiency level equivalent to the next lower grade level in federal service.

  3. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

In addition to the basic requirement, a qualified candidate's online application and resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:

GS-13: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-12). Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience with the Apptio Technology Financial Management and Cloud Financial Management application. Knowledge submitting procurement request for proposals (RFQ) via NASA SEWP (Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement) with development and management of multi-year budget plans (MYP). Tracking financial metrics in organizational product tracking tools and navigating and researching acquisition information.
