Duties

Help
  • Leads 3 or more employees who are assigned to the lane area of the facility.
  • Conducts operational checks, visually checking for worn or damaged parts.
  • Follows preventative maintenance schedules and performs routine scheduled maintenance
  • Determines which mechanical assemblies are malfunctioning and decides which parts and mechanisms can be reworked and which should be replaced with new parts.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.

  • Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Health and immunization screening is required
  • Must have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

Ability to do the work of the position under normal supervision and ability to lead employees engaged in technical work related to this position.

  • This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
  • All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
