This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Business – Cost Estimating certification within 60 months as of entrance on duty.
This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation may be conducted.

This is a TERM position not to exceed two years. It is a time limited position and may be extended up to a maximum of six years. After two years, employee may compete for permanent positions. Employee must complete at least 2 years of current continuous services under a term appointment in the competitive service AND employee must have a current performance rating under such a term appointment of at least fully successful or equivalent.
Basic Requirement for Operations Research Analyst: Degree: Bachelor's degree (or higher degree) in operations research; or a degree with at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus. (You must submit a copy of your transcripts.)
