Help
  • Serve as Budget Analyst, providing guidance to staff to ensure achievement of mission.
  • Advise management on a variety of fiscal policy issues that cut across multiple appropriations.
  • Identify issues that impact Command and subordinate units.
  • Disseminate all DA, DOD, and AMC fiscal directives that may impact command operations, policies and practices.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Advise program mangers on a wide range of fiscal policy issues related to GAO Comptroller General decisions, Code of Federal Regulations, statute, and OMB, DOD, Army and higher headquarters fiscal policy and regulations; 2) Develop written opinions/determinations on a variety of fiscal policy issues that cut across multiple appropriations; and 3) Applying analytical concepts and techniques to evaluate budgetary program policy deficiencies and provide recommendations for resolution/enhancements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02/GS-11).

CECOM is participating in an alternative personnel system known as the Acquisition Demonstration Project. The NH-03 pay band is equivalent to the GS-12, Step 01 to GS-13, Step 10; this position is subject to an internal organization control point at the GS 13, step 5 level.

This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-03 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS-12 grade Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS-13 grade step 5 in the broadband. This position is covered by control points to account for variances in position responsibilities within the broadband. The Control Point for this position NH-03 Budget Analyst is $99,200 to $133,692 including locality at the rate of 33.26%. Management will set the selectee's pay for this position within the control point salary range consistent with the qualifications and education of the selectee and the expected contribution for the position.
