About the Position:
The incumbent serves as a Radio Frequency (RF) propagation and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) subject matter expert, advisor, and steward of RF and signals intelligence sciences, technology and architectures for the Imagery Systems Branch and others.
Provides expert consultation services to the TENCAP Senior SIGINT Advisor, Army G2, the Director of the Army TENCAP Program
Assists the Senior SIGINT Advisor on internal and external technical matters with other DoD (components/agencies), governmental departments, academia, and commercial industry to ensure technical.
Serves as a RF propagation and SIGINT subject matter Army-wide expert, advisor, and steward of RF and signals intelligence sciences.
Reviews, evaluates, and balances technical efforts among various programs, and recommends methods to resolve identified problems.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
This position requires a drug test.
Must be able to obtain and maintain TOP SECRET security clearance.

In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the specialized experience listed below:
Specialized experience includes one year of experience to include 1) ability to provide technical guidance and support to the TENCAP Program; and 2)experience with Radio Frequence (RF)/Signal Intelligence (SIGINT) sciences, system engineering, and SIGINT enterprise operations, complemented by proficiency in digital processing, analysis, visualization; and/or 3) experience in technical writing or oral communication, crucial for effective project solutions; and/or 4) experience in directing complex technical programs from planning through delivery while supporting business development initiatives; and/or 5) or experience with work assignments to include technical reports, design analyses, specifications, and the use of similar materials
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
