Specialized Experience for GS-06: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal Service which includes: (1) checking library materials in and out; (2) registering and deleting library patron records in automation system; and (3) assisting customers with finding library materials, references and program information. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
Specialized Experience for GS-07: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal Service which includes: (1) performing circulation functions, (2) cataloging of library materials; (3) creating informational and educational materials for library programs; and (4) assisting customers with utilizing automation systems to search and retrieve library materials. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06)
