Duties

Help
  • Serves as Property Book Officer with responsibility for maintaining accountability for supplies and equipment for all MWR facilities.
  • Accounts for all property received, held, and issued to activities.
  • Reviews inventory of disposable property, supplies and equipment which include expendable and non-expendable property.
  • Performs the full range of personnel management responsibilities for lower graded employees.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.

  • Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors.
  • Business operations are Monday-Friday but is subject to change and will be based on the needs of the activity. Nights, weekends and holidays may be required for MWR events.

Qualifications

Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume.

  • Demonstrated ability and experience or education to perform the duties of the position. Requires a good working knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature or guidelines.
Highly Preferred Criteria: (All answers to the Highly Preferred criteria must be visible in your resume to get credit).
  • Possess a minimum of two (2) years Warehousing experience.
  • Possess a minimum of two (2) years experience in property book inventory management operations.
  • Possess a minimum of two (2) years or advance training in Supply Chain Management.
  • Possess demonstrated advanced skill in Microsoft Excel.
  • Possess a minimum of one (1) year experience with RIMP (Risk Inventory Management Program).
