Duties

Help
  • You will assist with the management of classified Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) program in support of Special Operations Forces (SOF) operations.
  • You will assist with the management of the Command’s programs, facilities, policy, training, inspections, oversight, and operations of the security access and badging system.
  • You will plan the installation and facilitate upkeep of personnel access controls and other security technology to secure a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
  • You will assist with the management of the Personnel, Physical, and Information SCI Security training program to meet the mission objectives for employees and operational requirements for the Command.
  • You will integrate the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values into the processes of the Command’s SCI security program.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1) Developing, evaluating, and implementing security programs for intelligence information systems with the objective of detecting and preventing hostile intelligence penetration; 2) Conducting physical security assessments and inspections for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) to enhance physical protection; 3) Analyzing and evaluating the character, background, and history of employees, and candidates for employment in order to determine their suitability & security eligibility; and 4) Identifying materials, processes, and information that require protection and recommending the level of security classification and other protections required.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
