The U.S. Attorney's Office is currently seeking applications from experienced litigators to fill an AUSA position handling criminal cases in its Marquette Office. The AUSA will work with federal, state, local, and tribal law enforcement agencies to investigate and prosecute a variety of federal offenses, including crimes occurring on property owned by, or held in trust for, Native American Tribes, white-collar fraud, crimes involving firearms and explosives, and drug-trafficking offenses. Depending on the experience of the successful applicant, there may be an initial period of training in the Grand Rapids office prior to assignment to Marquette.

Salary Information: Assistant United States Attorney's pay is administratively determined based, in part, on the number of years of professional attorney experience. The range of basic pay is $72,553 to $170,235 which includes 16.82% locality pay.
