As a Supervisory Physical Security SpecialistGS-0080-14, your typical work assignments may include:
Planning, directing, and coordinating the Personnel Security Program of the NLRB;
Reviewing security planning actions to incorporate physical security requirements into new construction modifications and renovation of existing structures to ensure that sufficient protective measures are included in construction plans;
Conducting investigations of reported misconduct or potentially illegal behavior by staff or others. These investigations are conducted due to the suitability concerns which may arise from the actions of employees;
Overseeing the issuance and control of all Personal Identity Verification Credentials for the NLRB; and
Serving as the point contact for information and advice on existing physical security equipment, and the purchase of new equipment.

IDEAL CANDIDATE STATEMENT
Candidate has senior level experience coordinating and managing and/or leading a team responsible for physical security systems. Candidate has experience creating policies and procedures to support continuity of operations. Senior level experience applying Enterprise Risk Management Strategies. Meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the GS-14, Supervisory Physical Security Specialist, and that is typically related to the work of the position to be filled.
Specialized experience includes:
Experience leading a team or program delegating, planning, directing the physical security system of a program office or agency;
Experience coordinating and implementing continuity of operations for a program or agency; and
Experience utilizing, managing safeguarding personnel security systems for a program or agency.
This experience must be fully supported and articulated in your resume to receive consideration.
TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year of experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent grade level of federal service is required to qualify for the GS-14 grade level.
