Duties

Help
  • Manages a large business activity. Formulates instructions and directives necessary to operate a fluid, profit generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base.
  • Represents the activity at conferences, to special interest groups and other agencies. Coordinates functions with community, and military representatives. As a second level supervisor reviews the actions of subordinate supervisors.
  • Conducts management review of patron programs to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective measures. Evaluates the success of programs in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction and mission accomplishment.
  • Reviews financial reports, estimates projected costs, develops activity financial plan. Monitors the procurement of all supplies and equipment for the activity.
  • Other Duties as Assigned.

Qualifications

Standard Qualifications:

  • Work Experience managing or directing the activities of the type of business to be managed
Highly Qualified:
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience with the use of both the Military Ticket Program and Joint Service Travel Program
  • Knowledge and understanding of NAF accounting, personnel management, internal control program, and business operating standards
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience completing and reviewing Daily Activity Reports
  • Understanding of and training with Government Purchase Card Program
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience with and training utilizing Standardized NAF Contracting System (SNACS)
  • Basic knowledge on upkeep and maintenance on bounce houses, canoes, kayaks, campers, canopies, and other related outdoor recreation equipment.

PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differential
  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
