At the full performance level of Interdisciplinary, GS-12, duties will be:
Serves as specifications engineer in support of District's projects involving the design of both conventional and unconventional facilities for the following:
Civil Works, Hazardous, Toxic and Radiological Waste (HTRW), Work for Others (WFO), Support for Others (SFO), and Military Programs, which encompass California, Utah, Nevada, and Arizona.
Assists in the coordination of Design Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QA/QC) review for Civil Works, HTRW, and Military Design and Construction Programs, applying a thorough knowledge of policies, procedures and applicable regulations.
Serves as Architect- Engineer Services work facilitator responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating the preparation and processing of contracts.
Those contracts are associated with conventional and complex civil works and military projects during the planning, design and construction phase.
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Must obtain and maintain a valid state issued driver's license
Qualifications
