Summary


About the position: This position will be assigned to the Pine Tree Inn on Ellsworth AFB .

Moderately heavy physical effort is required. Frequently lifts and moves objects weighing 40 pounds, and occasionally objects weighing over 50 pounds.

This position is considered regular part time. You are guaranteed 20 hours, however could work up to 40 hours per week.

As a regular employee you are eligible to earn leave and other NAF Benefits.

Duties

Help

Maintains lodging facilities in an orderly and clean manner.
Vacuums, sweeps and mops floors.
Cleans glass partitions, dusts ledges and empties wastebaskets.
Reports water leaks, clogged drains, and other conditions.
Maintains supply of cleaning materials.
Performs seasonal tasks as required; shoveling snow, mowing grass, picking up litter around buildings and watering lawns

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience in the proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Must be able to perform the full range of cleaning duties. Must be physically able to frequently move and control heavy equipment, including pushing carts. Must be physically able to occasionally lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds or more.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
