1. Educates analysts in methodologies and processes for conducting comprehensive research on complex topics and guides their implementation. 2. Explores innovative application of accepted or experimental structured analytic methodologies and techniques and recommends integration of new processes to analytic leadership. 3. Coaches peers and mentors junior analysts to coordinate, collaborate, and cultivate relationships with clients and colleagues throughout the Intelligence Community. 4. Assesses and evaluates intelligence gaps to ensure that collection requests are developed. 5. Leads teams in developing and presenting concise, complex assessments in verbal, written and visual formats that highlight subject matter expertise, enhance insight into, and support policymaker-level Defense decisions.
HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS
1. Previous experience with adversary global competitor missions. 2. Previous experience with WMD or strategic weapon systems. 3. Experience leading analysis in a Combatant Command environment.

DIA positions are Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) positions in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1601. All applicants must be U.S. citizens at the time of application.
