As a Program Analyst (Electronic Case Management Services) GS-0343-12, your typical work assignments may include:

  • Resolving customer related technical software and hardware problems for the Agency's electronic case management systems in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Training and coordinating with agency-wide users on the implementation of changes in case handling policies, procedures, and requirements within electronic case management or other case tracking systems.
  • Maintaining knowledge of software that supports case processing activities such as database management systems, forms, work processing, text search packages, workflow, and litigation support.
  • Conducting demonstrations, and presentations on system operations to train agency users.
  • Gathering, analyzing, and/or evaluating information and developing recommendations to resolve substantive problems of effectiveness and efficiency of work operations.

IDEAL CANDIDATE STATEMENT:
The ideal candidate has experience providing a full range of system analysis and maintenance and has experience working independently, has strong oral communication skills to provide exceptional customer service, and can collaborate with others to meet an organization's mission.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To be qualified for this position at the GS-12 level, applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of a Program Analyst (Electronic Case Management Services) at the GS-12.

Specialized experience includes:

  • Experience working with automated case management systems; AND
  • Experience providing solutions while integrating into case management systems; AND
  • Experience performing document and/or case management solutions.

TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENT:
Applicants must meet time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible.

One year of experience at the GS-11 grade level or equivalent grade level of federal service is required to qualify for the GS-12 grade level.

NOTE: All current federal employees must provide a copy of their SF-50 "Notice of Personnel Action" that indicates proof of status. The SF-50 must include your position, title, series, grade, step, tenure (1 or 2), and type of service (Competitive). As a current NLRB career or career conditional employee in the Competitive Service, you may determine your current status by checking block 24 on your SF-50. Block 24 must reflect "1" or "2". Also, block 34 must reflect "1". A copy of your SF-50 must be provided for verification.

NOTE: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
