Help
  • Create, maintain, and train new and existing employees and contractors to be fully proficient Customer Support Center (CSC) agents.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the Cisco UCCX platform.
  • Code SQL, PowerBI, MS Office macros and procedures, and Helix to produce extensive and related scorecards and metric sheets.
  • Maintain a CSC library of documents for training and reporting purposes.
  • Maintain a QA program for CSC agents to include auditing calls and tickets for continual improvement.

Qualifications

Experience must be IT related and may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific intensive training (for example, IT certification) as appropriate. For all positions, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

For the GS-11: Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service. More specifically, this experience includes, but is not limited to, the following: providing technical IT support to customers to include the ability to communicate in an non-technical manner with end users; experience with administering a cloud application; knowledge of performing automated tasks; following defined standard operating procedures; and addressing support requests with team lead oversight and support;
OR applicants may substitute education - a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M., if related. (NOTE: Applicants who select this response must provide transcripts as verification of their education);
OR applicants may substitute a combination - of experience and education as defined above which equals 100%.

Stipulations of Employment:

This Term appointment may be extended up to 4 years, or terminated at any time at management's discretion. DOI may extend this Term appointment up to four additional years if the Direct Hire Authority remains in effect. No individual may serve more than eight years under this Term appointment. Selection does not confer eligibility to be promoted or reassigned to other positions. This appointment may be converted to a career or career-conditional permanent position without further competition.


Selection for this Term position may require serving a 1-year trial period.
