Help
  • Serve in the pivotal role of AI Software Architect, coordinating the execution of advanced systems empowered by machine learning.
  • Employs Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines within cloud ecosystems including Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon Web Services to ensure seamless and robust delivery of AI solutions.
  • Purview encompasses meticulous application debugging, sophisticated diagnostics, and the optimization of system performance tuning.
  • Manage the full development lifecycle with deft precision, from the initial requirements elicitation and accurate estimation to the architectural design and development stages.
  • Document and communicate proposed software solutions with integrated, cross-­functional teams in a fast-paced highly technical environment.
  • Function efficiently in a highly dynamic environment while delivering superior customer service and maintaining professional relationships.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements: You must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed. Please respond Yes or No if you possess such experience.
1) Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
2) Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
3) Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4) Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

For the GS14: You must have one year (52 Weeks) of specialized experience comparable in cope and responsibility to the GS-14 level (obtained in either the public or private sectors) that is IT-related and included:

I have one full year (52 Weeks) of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-13 level (obtained in either the public or private sectors) that is IT-related and included experience in specialized experience for this position includes all of the following:
1) Investigate issues within Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, identifying solutions or executing significant improvement projects for existing systems.; and
2) Strategize to guarantee that system upgrades are aligned with program objectives and demands.; and
3) Confirm compliance with pertinent regulations and guidelines in the development and upkeep of AI applications or systems.

You must meet all qualification and eligibility requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
