This is a limited tenure position not to exceed 15 months. This is an unaccompanied program due to the fact that we can not provide logistical support to family members. Dorm style housing is provided. Transportation to and from Germany is provided in accordance with the terms of the executed transportation agreement. Military spouses and family members currently residing within the Garmisch Military Community who apply under this announcement will be considered.
Responsible for all aspects of food and beverage control to include inventory management; food and beverage cost analysis and controls; variance analysis and reporting; sensitive item inventory control and analysis; and internal control for point of sale, inventory and beverage control systems.
Studies food and beverage activities to provide advisory services to operating managers and members of management. Interviews personnel; researches records; reviews reports, financial statements, and inventory records to gather data. Observes and analyzes mission, organization, work processes, methods, procedures, etc. to recommend improvement of present practices to improve revenue, reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction. May supervise assigned staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME.
Strong analytical skills and advanced abilities with spreadsheet functions are required. Food and beverage controller, food and beverage management or food and beverage operations experience strongly preferred. Accounting experience or education preferred. Highly qualified candidates will have hospitality or lodging experience.
