Summary

You will set up and operate unconventional machines such as a jig, bore, automatic bar and chucker machine and the Monarch 150 Numerical Controlled Vertical Milling Program Machine with three axes.
You will set up and operate conventional machines such as lathes, horizontal boring mills, shapers, planers, and radial drills.
You will lay out work from blueprints, samples, sketches, and work orders using shop mathematics and handbook formulas to compute dimensions.
You will provide machining, cutting operations, heat treating, operations required to disassemble, repair, modify, and overhaul motor transport, ordnance, engineer, general purpose, and other support equipment.
You will perform preventive maintenance to machine tools.
You will keep tools, machines and equipment clean and safe for use.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
