Provide a combination of technical (nonprofessional medical) and administrative tasks related to the Advance Life Support (ALS) treatment and care of patients in an emergency environment inside and outside the MTF/MC emergency room setting.
Conduct intake procedures obtains general medical information, including allergies and drug sensitivities; and takes and records vital signs.
Recognize, stabilize, and provide emergent health care to a range of patients presenting with complex or multiple emergency systems dysfunctions.
Act as liaison between patients and the primary professional medical care provider.
