Duties

Help

As a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) GS-2210-14 (TITLE 32) you will, exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities; manages Cyberspace Operations mission commitments, programs, and projects impacting personnel, equipment, software and services. Identify and prioritizes funding and personnel resource needs and executes current year financial programs. Review incoming tasking orders, plans, or requests for forces and prepares summaries for higher headquarters. Provide technical and functional expertise concerning Cyberspace Operations missions to the parent Cyberspace Operations Group, host Wing, higher headquarters, and visiting Distinguished Visitors as required. Perform other duties as assigned.

  • This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard, required prior to the effective date of placement.
  • Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
  • Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
  • Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.
  • Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigation.
  • May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
  • Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Special Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligible security clearance.
  • Must be certified IAW DOD 8570.01-M, Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002, Clinger Cohen Act of 1996 and current AF directives.
  • Minimum requirements are specified in the most recent 8570 PD template on the A3CC Page of the GKO Portal at https://gkoportal.ng.mil/ang/A3/A3C/A3CC/Cyber%20Ops%20Templates/Forms/Allltems.aspx.
  • Applicant must complete a Baseline Pre-Placement Screening for General Schedule positions within 30 days of appointment.
  • Acceptance of a Federal position may terminate Tricare Reserve Select eligibility.

Qualifications

Military Grades: O5 through O6

GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Managing, supervising, leading, administering, developing, delivering, and supporting information technology (IT) systems and services; knowledge of IT principles, concepts, and methods, e.g., data storage, software applications, networking.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 1 year at the next lower GS level or 36 months specialized experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
