Duties

Help
  • Develop automated queries to assimilate data required by internal and external customers.
  • Conduct system inquiries and day-to-day customer inquiries to determine effectiveness of the automated system providing status and progress.
  • Ascertain that plan is complete, compatible with existing construction and clearly conveys the design intent to the contractor.
  • Verify specifications are correct and meet the requirements of all applicable codes and regulations.
  • Perform on-site inspection of construction projects involving the electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the medical center.
  • Monitor the preventive maintenance program to ensure that all elements of the utilities management program are developed to comply with the industry standards and are adequately executed and documented.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes experience planning and/or programming repairs and maintenance in areas such as mechanical, electrical, grounds maintenance, plumbing and utilizing various automated/work order systems such as Excel, Access, Word, General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-08).

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
