Duties

Help

Brief description of duties:

  • Assist in the receipt of supplies.
  • Assist in the scanning of documents.
  • Assist in filling customer supply requests.
  • Assist in the inventory of supplies in the supply store.
  • Assist in the completion of inventories of fixed assets located within the Courts.
  • Assist in the delivery of supplies throughout the District of Columbia Courts campus
  • Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds, and be able to endure prolonged standing.

This position requires driving.

  • Background and security investigation are required.
  • A probationary period of one (1) year must be successfully completed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma or General Equivalence Diploma (GED) and at least (2) years of clerical or administrative experience in an office environment.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is preferred.

Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds, and be able to endure prolonged standing and walking.   

Must possess and maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's permit/license. A copy of your Motor Vehicle Operator's permit/license must be submitted prior to appointment.

Please note that authorization for the release of your adult criminal record revealing any convictions and forfeitures, and any criminal cases currently pending before the courts is required.  If you are selected for the position, a criminal history records check will be conducted.

Education
