Duties

Help
  • Supervise Branch functions.
  • Supervise suborinate employees.
  • Execute supply depot operations (Receipts/Issues), in coordination with Transportation, Quality, Surveillance, Storage, Operations Center, and Arsenal Production
  • Responsible for overall requirements, operations, procedures, and functions for all material management/stock record accounting of components and end items, from receipt, storage, issue, and/or demil across Army Working Capital Fund (AWCF) operations
  • Oversees the Stock Record accounts for Pine Bluff Arsenal, utilizing Logistics Modernization Planning (LMP) software, valued in excess of $400 million.

  • This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
  • A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.
  • Incumbent must maintain AA-E security certification/screening IAW AR 190-11.

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Planning, directing, and/or implementing an item (including ammunition) management program; 2) Tracking and/or monitoring the receipt, storage, and/or issuance of ammunition, explosives or wholesale material; 3) Resolving supply issues; and 4) Leading projects and/or personnel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).

Education

  • The Joint Munitions Command provides the Joint Force with ready, reliable, lethal munitions at the speed of war. JMC's mission is to support the production, storage, distribution, and demilitarization of munitions. This position serves as a Supervisory General Supply Specialist located at Pine Bluff Arsenal, AR which is a subordinate installation of JMC.

  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.
