  • Duties described below are at the highest grade advertised. Duties assigned at lower grade levels will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee.
  • Serves as IT security administrator support, manages the accesses to all Financial Systems and ensures there are no conflicts with roles.
  • Serves as support for the Center Business Process Lead.
  • Ensures accesses to financial systems are in compliance with Federal and NASA policies and procedures.
  • Analyzes, prepares, and submits ad hoc reports related to financial system accesses, as well as maintaining OCFO websites and other requested information for stakeholders as required.
  • Provides end user support and consultation for Enterprise Application financial systems requests.
  • Reviews financial system access data and provides advice and/or recommendations to management.
  • Leads and/or serves on Center and/or Agency teams as the subject matter expert as appropriate.

Qualifications

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

To qualify at the GS-11 level, you must have:
a) One year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level:

  • Interpreting existing policies and guidelines to manage workflows in financial systems;
  • Troubleshooting system access issues or providing other end user support pertaining to financial systems or similar;
  • Supporting site creation and/or maintenance in web based platforms such as Sharepoint, to share or track organizational information/data.
OR
b) Completed all requirements for a doctoral degree (i.e., Ph.D. or equivalent) in an appropriate field
OR
c) Completed 3 full academic years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree or equivalent doctoral degree in an appropriate field
OR
d) LL.M., if related
OR
e) Have an equivalent combination of experience and graduate study as discussed in a), b), c) and d) above

To qualify at the GS-12 level, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level:
  • Utilizing policies and guidelines to assess and support user access for financial systems or similar;
  • Reviewing and updating requirements for financial systems assets;
  • Analyzing systems user access data to provide advice and/or recommendations for making informed decisions.
