Qualifications
For GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience examining two or more instruments, for example gas chromatographs, gas chromatograph mass spectrophotometers, high pressure liquid chromatographs, graphite furnaces, ion chromatography, or inductively coupled plasmas.
Experience utilizing the mentioned instruments, to train others on the instrumentation.
Experience writing and validating standard operating procedures.
For GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience examining on one or two different instruments, for example gas chromatographs, gas chromatograph mass spectrophotometers, high pressure liquid chromatographs, graphite furnaces, ion chromatography, or inductively coupled plasmas.
Experience searching and reviewing all pertinent literature and references on possible approaches and methods that could be used to identify any known or unknown chemical contaminants.
Experience planning and performing projects to test and evaluate these new analytical methods or approaches.
