Duties

Help
  • Acts as a technical lead analyst researcher, both accomplishing research and documenting results.
  • Present analytic research to advise current project initiatives and future investments.
  • Monitors and collects data on capability development and makes recommendations for improvements.
  • Identifies partnership opportunities across the Department of Defense and other government agencies to expand and improve research and analytic capability and understanding of the mission environment.
  • Recognize problems, develop recommendations and solutions, and oversee corrections within assigned specialty, work effectively in a team environment.
  • Exceptional experience expressing information orally and in writing to individuals or groups; organizing and actively leading meetings; and providing briefings, often to General or Flag Officers and Senior Executives.

  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Coordinating requirements with combatant commands, intelligence community and other federal government agencies.
2) Utilizing open source and classified information to drive collection and develop comprehensive all-source assessments.
3) Organizing and prioritizing multiple complex tasks in coordination with key internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines and to meet strategic goals and objectives.
4) Establishing and maintaining relationships with a broad spectrum of individuals and groups inside and outside of the organization, including senior levels of management.
5) Applying basic principles, concepts, and theories of Cyber Operations analytical practices and methodologies. Knowledge, experience, and/or professional certifications in one or more computer or networking technical areas.
6) Applying strong verbal and written communication skills, especially the ability to articulate technical requirements to a non-technical audience
