This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position. Incumbent is required to comply with all requirements of this certification program. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.
Designated Mission Essential Position: Incumbent is required to report for duty during inclement weather, Natural Disasters, and other emergency situations as directed by the Commander.
Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed
Qualifications

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing technical assistance to managers on matters related to budget and expenditure of funds; proposing alternative methods of financing unfunded requirements; preparing monthly reports covering status of funds; and providing guidance to managers on financial management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
