Responsible for all aspects of food and beverage control to include inventory management; food and beverage cost analysis and controls; variance analysis and reporting; sensitive item inventory control and analysis; scheduling and payroll cost analysis; and internal control for point of sale, inventory and beverage control systems.
Studies food and beverage activities to provide advisory services to operating managers and members of management.
Interviews personnel; researches records; reviews reports, financial statements, and inventory records to gather data.
Observes and analyzes mission, organization, work processes, methods, procedures, etc. to recommend improvement of present practices to improve revenue, reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. All qualification requirements must include experience performing duties equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level.
Strong analytical skills and advanced abilities with spreadsheet functions are required.
Food and beverage controller, food and beverage management or food and beverage operations experience strongly preferred.
Accounting experience or education preferred.
