Develops and maintains cybersecurity plans, strategy, and policy to support and align with organizational cybersecurity initiatives.
Design/integrate a cyber strategy that outlines the vision, mission, and goals that align with the organization's strategic plan.
Provide policy guidance to cyber management, staff, and users.
Prioritize building the capacity and mechanisms to collaborate with critical infrastructure owners and operators to identify, understand, and mitigate threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to respective sectors.
Provide independent, strategic, and actionable consensus recommendations to the CISO on a range of cybersecurity issues, topics, and challenges.
Develop a resource-informed Sector Risk Management Agency (SRMA) cybersecurity plan to mature capabilities, improve processes, and make use of technology solutions.

Qualifying experience for GS-15 includes one year of specialized experience comparable to GS-14 which is directly related to the work of this position, and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, specialized experience is demonstrated experience 1.) Leading the development of cybersecurity plans, strategy, and policy 2.) Leading organizational cyber initiatives and 3.) Leading investigation into cyber regulatory compliance organization wide.
