Duties

Help
  • Responsible for Audit Readiness and Remediation activities for business processes related the acquisition, receipt and acceptance and valuation of capital assets, munitions, and spare parts.
  • Responsible for the development, completion and implementation of effective corrective action plan that address control gaps and include necessary steps for remediation of audit findings.
  • Develop, analyze and publish publication of meaningful metrics, plan milestones, process narratives, process flows, and Internal Controls.
  • Develop policies, plans, and procedures relating to external audits throughout ASA(ALT) and executes audit liaison functions as prescribed by appropriate laws, directives, and regulations.

  • Business travel may be required up to 25% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade NH-02/GS-11 or equivalency which includes: 1) Analyzing procurement programs to identify problems in order to recommend appropriate resolutions; 2) Reviewing proposed contractual actions for conformance with regulatory requirements and procurement practices; and 3) Serve as contracting officer's representative (COR) on selected contracts, and recommends the issuance of necessary modifications to clarify questions. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02 or GS-11).
