Duties

Help
  • Develops comprehensive plans and procedures for the daily procedures of the Logistics Plans/Operations and Supply section, incorporating material into briefings and staff reports.
  • Develops plans and strategies for the internal and external integration of daily and long-term projects, actions, and activities requiring involvement of the command staff.
  • Certifies General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) level-one validations for contracting actions and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) purchase approvals.
  • Organizes and delivers briefings to managers, directorates, and supervisors at all levels within and outside of the CCOE.
  • Manages actions, determines status, prioritizes actions, and provides comprehensive status briefs to the supervisor.
  • Assists the School, staff, and directorates with the Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL).

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • Position requires Top Secret security access with eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP).
  • This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program and must pass urinalysis testing prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
  • Temporary duty (TDY) business travel is required approximately 5 percent of the time.
  • Serves as Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
  • May be required to work overtime.
  • A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

This position is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Full Performance Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.


To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by managing daily logistics operations to include but not limited to: personnel administrative actions, Government Purchase Card management, Certification of General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBs) level one validation for contracting actions and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) purchase approvals, managing logistics using Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) and the Logistics Information Systems suite; assisting organizations and providing oversight of Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL) process in EFLIPL and providing updates to leadership; providing oversight of the Command Supply Discipline Program through Staff Assistance Visits, logistics forums and other platforms; managing daily operations of branch to include reviews, plans, drafts of TASKORDs; gathering data, providing briefings utilizing the Microsoft Software, and delivering briefings to senior personnel.
