Summary

DCSA's DOD Insider Threat Management and Analysis Center (DITMAC) is seeking a Prevention Assistance & Response (PAR) Office Chief. To provide technical assistance to the installation and tenant Commander(s) in addressing matters concerning PAR and facilitate the identification and resolution of workplace and violence prevention issues and concerns common to the Military Services and joint commands within their assigned locality.

As a INSIDER THREAT ASSESSMENT ANALYST (PAR COORDINATOR) you will be responsible for the following duties:
* Conduct operational coordination in support of the Prevention, Assistance, and Response (PAR) program

* Communicate effectively to DITMAC leadership, installation Prevention and Resilience Program Managers, Commanders, and to PAR coordinators in the field

* Evaluate operational challenges, identify solutions, and implement change related to violence and insider threat prevention

* Facilitates proactive action to mitigate insider risk and support DoD personnel or DoD-affiliated personnel on the installation

* Support the development of metrics to support DOD ROI

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.

You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience.

Specialized experience for this position includes: A sound and extremely broad exposure to and knowledge of technical and operational issues relating to CI and be familiar with security, information security and assurance, critical infrastructure protection and risk management as they relate to the Department of Defense and its Components. The individual must have demonstrated the ability to successfully coordinate and implement policy and policy guidance and have a working knowledge of the concepts of strategic CI functions of: investigations, operations, collections, production and functional services as well as the missions of CI activities in support of research and technology protection (RDA).

Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies:
1. Program Outreach - Develop and implement programs and activities to establish, maintain, and enhance public awareness and enable mutually beneficial relationships to meet the needs of stakeholders.

2. Planning and Evaluating - Organizes work, sets priorities, and determines resource requirements; determines short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinates with other organizations or parts of the organization to accomplish goals; monitors progress and evaluates outcomes.

3.Management Analysis - Conducts research and solves organizational inefficiencies to increase the effectiveness of the organization.

4. Communication Skills- Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally to internal and external stakeholders to further the activity.

5. Leadership - ability to lead a complexity multi-level organization.

Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
