Duties

Help

To provide administrative and program management to the NIST Research Security Team and liaise with the CHIPS R&D Office (CRDO). Serves as the coordinator of planing, organizing, and overseeing the efforts and projects that are aimed at achieving and improving the quality, effectiveness, and timeliness of the NIST Research Team's accomplishments. The individual will Manage short and long-range planning activities that include multi-year work plans for the Team as well as manage the Team's calendar obligations, manage and coordinate internal reviews for Associates, Measurement Services, publications, travel (physical and virtual), bi-lateral engagements, and manage and coordinate reviews for CRDO. Manage and coordinate Team's engagements with industry and academia partners, and with federal government partners.

Qualifications

Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level (ZA-II at NIST) in the federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience of program management, in coordinating and managing a team from across organization and agencies. Experience with safeguarding international science/research security policies and procedures.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done. We will credit all qualifying volunteer experience in your application.

The qualification requirements in this vacancy announcement are based on the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards Handbook.
