U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
Issuing rental equipment, checking for damage, performing maintenance, repairs, cleaning of equipment. Performing duties as a driver or assistant driver for field trips or tours.
Receiving payments, making reservations, selling tickets, applying cash protection procedures, and preparing daily cash reports. Ensuring stock and inventory items are accessible.
Cleaning campers, performing minor repairs, and staging equipment. Cleaning campgrounds, and facilities, using hand tools and operating equipment as necessary.
Working an unconventional schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Providing customer service by greeting patrons, checking identification cards, issuing and receiving gear, and registering patrons for facility use or events.
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one year probationary period may be required.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
Able and willing to work days, nights, weekends, and special events as needed.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation.
Must have or be able to obtain a current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification.
Failure to successfully completed required training may result in separation.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must have knowledge of and experience in a wide variety of Outdoor Recreation pursuits. Applicants pursuing a degree in Recreation Management, Outdoor Recreation, or a related field, and in the process of completing an internship or fieldwork program will be considered highly qualified.
Highly Preferred:
Experience repairing, cleaning, and maintaining recreation equipment.

PCS Costs

Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
This is a pay-banded position.
Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
