Summary
You will serve as Ordnance Equipment Repairer in the Navy Munitions Command Detachment of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.

You will assemble and disassemble air launched and/or released weapons.
You will inspect various ordnance systems for conformance with specifications.
You will perform preventative maintenance on ordnance handling and support equipment.
You will perform quality inspection on ordnance materials.
You will perform a wide range of activities involved in receiving, issuing, storing, segregating, selecting, handling, prepping, inventorying and shipping ordnance material.
Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to perform common tasks including: 1) Applying knowledge of weapons publications pertaining to inspections, storage and transportations; 2) Performing preventive maintenance on ordnance handling and support equipment; and 3) Repairing, overhauling, and testing of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components and assemblies of ordnance equipment. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
