Duties

The Primary Purpose of this position is to perform and/or assist other recreation assistants or specialists in the operation and maintenance of indoor and/or outdoor recreational facilities within the Community Center.

The Primary Duties of this Position include, but are not limited to:

Sets up recreation areas and event spaces for scheduled activities
Respond to inquiries, schedules room reservations,
Checks the facility's established safety system and equipment
Collects fees, helps maintain resale operations and protects funds
Takes inventory of authorized recreation supplies and equipment
Helps monitor group activities
Performs other related duties as assigned

Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures
Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities are desirable, however, no experience is required
