  • Performs the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties responsible for understanding and actively supporting the Command's Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program
  • Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting priorities and scheduling completion.
  • Provides direction, guidance and leadership in providing effective methods for issuance of tasks, resolution of problems, and correction of deficiencies.
  • Serves as the authority for the development and execution of strategic plans and documentation, and communications that will guide, direct, and outline the future of delegated contracting activities.
  • Communicates with internal and external customers and team members to assess effectiveness of assigned programs.

  • This position requires submission of a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually thereafter.
  • The duties of this position require occasional temporary duty (TDY) travel of up to 15% of the time.

  • This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade or band is required. It is defined as one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-13 grade equivalent or higher) in the Federal Service, which includes:1) -Experience in the formation and development of acquisition or contracting strategies that support mission requirements. 2-Experience in the analysis of Army level acquisition policies and the impact on contracting or acquisition strategies. 3-Demonstrated experience in both written and verbal mediums with a broad audience of senior and junior level personnel.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
