Duties

Help
  • At the GS-13 level you will perform developmental duties, as assigned. At the GS-14 (Full Performance Level) you will perform the duties below:
  • You will coordinate with the Director, NHHC and command leadership to define initiatives and projects that will support mission execution and/or command wide process improvement.
  • You will conduct special analyses and develop initiatives, projects, and processes that enhance the execution of an assigned initiative, project, or program.
  • You will prepare briefings, Information Papers, After Action Reports, and related documents to include analyzing, organizing, formatting, and assuring accuracy/completeness of the final publications.
  • You will develop strategic plans to enhance the execution of the Navy’s historical programs.
  • You will research, learn, and applies a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze and improve NHHC effectiveness, efficiency, and work products.
  • You will develop and implement changes to internal procedures, policies, and organization of work to improve workflow, services rendered, and productivity.
  • You will coordinate with representatives of other organizations concerning matters of work accomplishment, priorities, procedures, and changes that impact outside organizations.

Qualifications

To qualify for the GS-14 level your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze, and improve effectiveness, efficiency, of programs and work products, performing the following:1) Conducting special analyses and developing initiatives, projects, and processes that enhance the execution of an assigned initiative, project, or program2) Preparing briefings, Information Papers, After Action Reports, and related documents to include analyzing, organizing, formatting, and assuring accuracy/completeness of the final publications.3) Developing strategic plans to enhance the execution of programs.4) Developing and implementing changes to internal procedures, policies, and organization of work to improve workflow, services rendered, and productivity.5) Coordinating with representatives of other organizations concerning matters of work accomplishment, priorities, procedures, and changes that impact outside organizations.6) Preparing long- range and short- range planning guidance in accordance with broad agency program policies and objectives.7) Performing continuous appraisal of the utilization of resources in accomplishing program objectives and goals.
