Duties

Help
  • Responsible for overall management and direction of Business and Revenue Generating operations at a MWR installation to include some or all of the following: Bowling, Golf Courses, Auto Skills and other revenue generating operations.
  • Provides leadership, supervision, and guidance to ensure attainment of the established business performance objectives. Coordinates with other MWR Programs (i.e. CYS, Recreation) as required.
  • Directs, develops, and administers plans and procedures, and implements, enforces, and ensures compliance with regulations to provide business operations which meet the needs and interests of the assigned installation.
  • Prepares and presents briefings on MWR Programs as necessary and answers all requests for data pertaining to managed programs. May act as Certifying Official/Billing Official (CO/BO) for Government Purchase Cards.
  • Performs the full range of supervisory functions/responsibilities for assigned activities. May supervise other support services functions as required and assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must possess at least one year of work experience directing/managing one or more MWR Business Operations activities as listed above, or similar civilian operation.
  2. Experience must show the full range of managerial and supervisory duties.
Highly Preferred Criteria:
  1. Have at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  2. Have three (3) or more years of experience overseeing multiple business programs.
  3. Have experience with Government Purchase Cards as both a purchaser and as a billing official.
  4. Willing and able to have a schedule that may require to deviate, depending on needs of the facilities overseen.
  5. Have or able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license.

PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is in the Government's interest.
  • PCS costs will be paid in accordance with and not exceed the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) allowances.
Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
Incentives and Bonuses
  • Incentives will not be paid.
Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid.
