Performs administrative clerical work in support of the Nonappropriated Funds Human Resources Office (HRO). The position works under the supervision of the Human Resources Officer. Performs up-front administrative and clerical duties in support of NAF Human Resources Program by applying basic administrative knowledge, and knowledge of terminology, requirements, procedures, and functions of the NAF HRO. Performs in/out-processing briefings with employees, in a clear, concise, and technical approach. Retrieves position and personnel data for a variety of recurring and one-time reports. Independently prepares all reports displaying data in standardized formats. Prepares a variety of notices, letters, reports, forms, in-processing/out-processing packages, and other documents to include DD 1172 Common Access Card (CAC) applications. Inputs and maintains databases, tracks personnel actions, and creates files. Performs simple reception duties and assists customers via telephone or in person by providing information, responding to various inquiries, accepting documents, and directing customers to the proper specialist within the office. Provides information and responds to inquiries from visitors and callers regarding NAF employment via telephone, e-mail or in person. Uses Microsoft Office to produce a variety of documents utilizing various formats. Routes general email to appropriate staff member from group email inbox. Ensures brochures are accurate and up-to-date. Provides accurate, timely, and professional employment information to applicants, employees, and supervisors. Establishes and maintains electronic records/files. Conducts bi-weekly New Employee Orientation (NEO) brief for NAF employees. Accurately submits data bi-weekly to Air Force Services Center (AFSVC), installation payroll, and other applicable systems and/or departments. Requests and transmits Official Personnel Folders (OPFs) accordingly. Performs other duties as assigned.
