U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
Required standing and walking on hard and carpeted surfaces with some bending, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of items or carts weighing up to 20 to 40 pounds, and occasionally over 50 pounds
Maintain cleanliness of walls, windows, blinds and ceiling fixtures using ladders, scaffolds and safety belt.
Ensure rooms, corridors, stairways and other areas are clean
Maintain stock of room and cleaning supplies to perform assigned duties
Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
A one year probationary period may be required.
Ability to work occasional Saturdays for special events (IF REQUIRED BY MANAGEMENT).

Education

Area of Consideration:
The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is defined as Honolulu, HI and surrounding area within 50-mile radius; in addition to, you are considered eligible if one of the following applies: 1) you live outside of this area and are able to commute to work on a daily/as needed basis, 2) you are able to relocate yourself on your own expenses, 3) you are an involuntarily separated military member, or 4) you are a military spouse relocating to this installation (eligibility begins 30 days before the military sponsor's reporting date at the new duty location).
(Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration).
New FWS appointments will be made at the minimum step rate for the appropriate grade, except as follows:
1) Garrison commanders or equivalent are authorized to make appointments at the second step rate in recognition of special qualifications, skills, and experience of an exceptional or highly specialized nature.
2) Upon reemployment and reinstatement to a NAF position, the entrance salary may be fixed at any rate for the appropriate grade that does not exceed the rate paid during the previous employment. However, if the highest previous rate falls between two rates of the grade, the employee may be paid at the higher rate
PCS Costs
Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
FWS Allowances and Differentials
This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position.
All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee.
