Serves as the focal point for communicating the policies and objectives of management to nonsupervisory employees. Responsible for the quality and quantity of work produced by employees, working within set limits of cost and time. Plans, organizes, assigns, and assesses work of employees working in the Club. Makes decisions or recommendations, regarding the expenditure of resources. Provides guidance and makes decisions in technical and administrative matters. Establishes and monitors production goals and program priorities. Schedules employees as necessary, and evaluates work progress and results. Participates in the selection, training, and evaluation of employees. Hears and responds to employee or employee-group suggestions, dissatisfactions or grievances, and takes appropriate action. Monitors employees assuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner. Oversees preparation of food for various special functions, etc. Performs cook duties as needed. Completes routine walk through inspections, taking any necessary actions and meets all objectives for sanitation and environmental requirements. Must maintain and ensure compliance with fire and safety requirements. Prepares budget and food cost reports for the food service function. Monitors cost of labor and cost of sales standards required by AMC, and Air Force Regulations/Standards, and Financial Performance goals. Conducts inventories, completes daily activity reports; maintains change fund; conducts surprise cash counts; updates inventories upon receipt of resale items; identifies purchase requirements, executes purchase orders utilizing prime vendor sources as required; ensures employees are properly trained in portion control, food handlers, ServSafe (when required) and customer service. Performs cashier duties as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifying Experience:

Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's and ServSafe Certificate. Must be able to exert light physical effort in reaching, bending, turning, or moving hands, feet, and legs to operate hand and foot controls. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). "This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use."
