Duties

Help

This is an Essential-Employee Position. The employee will be required to report to work during emergencies AND inclement weather situations.

Work schedule may require some occasionally mandatory overtime on holidays AND weekends.

Tour of duty for this position is: Tuesday to Saturday 3:00 pm to 11:30pm. (hours could change due to operational needs)

The individual selected for this position will: 

HVAC:

Performs maintenance inspections, installations and necessary repairs to various equipment including refrigeration, commercial kitchen appliances and HVAC.

Responsible for reading and adjusting electronic and pneumatic Direct Digital Controls (DDC), air compressors, ice machines and various pump and steam operated equipment.

Targets faulty air conditioning equipment and fixes defects.

Troubleshoots and builds various systems and software to include BacNet Direct Digital Control Systems, ALC software and Building Automation System (BAS). Modifies pneumatic EMCS systems, electrical valves and sensors.

Electrical Monitoring and Equipment:

Creates prototype application, rewiring layouts and troubleshooting. Responsible for correcting electrical control systems.

Creates electrical circuit plans and configures new test setups. And Utilizes plum bobs, augers, pumps and gauges.

Creates electrical circuit plans and configures new test setups. Tests systems for correct conditions.

Dismantles electrical-mechanical systems to resolve necessary repairs and makes corrections if necessary.

Plumbing:

Adjusts, maintains, repairs and troubleshoots electronic and Direct Digital Controls (DDC’s) including air handler units, electronic dampers, electronic valves and Variable Air Volume systems.

Installs and repairs utility, supply and disposal plumbing systems. Modifies systems and equipment flow and drainage.

Replaces sewage, water, oil and gas distribution equipment, tubs, fire sprinkler systems and showers and replaces faucets, sinks, toilets, urinals, flushometer valves and clogged drains.

Knowledge of hazardous (e.g. lead paint and solvents) and universal (e.g. lamps and batteries) waste management requirements.
